That Sugar Film

That Sugar Film

Food Active is proud to present a special, invitation only, film screening of That Sugar Film for pupils from Merseyside Secondary Schools at 11am on Thursday 22nd October at the Odeon, Liverpool One.

That Sugar Film is one man’s journey to discover the bitter truth about sugar. Damon Gameau embarks on a unique experiment to document the effects of a high sugar diet on a healthy body, consuming only foods that are commonly perceived as ‘healthy’. Through this entertaining and informative journey, Damon highlights some of the issues that plague the sugar industry, and where sugar lurks on supermarket shelves. That Sugar Film will forever change the way you think about ‘healthy’ food.

Tickets are free, but are limited and on a first come, first served basis. Contact matthew.donnelly@hegroup.org.uk to reserve places for your pupils (30 per school max).

For further information please contact Food Active direct on 0151 237 2686.

(Note- help with the transport may be available).
